Romeo & Juliet

Two households, both alike in dignity, a pair of star-crossed lovers take their life; whose mis-adventured piteous overthrows, do with their death bury their parents’ strife.

And with these words begins one of the most beloved Shakespearean tales of all time – Romeo and Juliet – the tale of teenage love, teenage angst and ultimately, teenage suicide, still poignant in today’s world.

There have been many reimagining of this timeless tale, but this one remains true to the original with just one addition, that of an original soundtrack written by 18-year-old Hannah-Jade Keppler (Juliet).

Join us as we watch Romeo and Juliet fall in love. Watch as we see the well-intentioned Friar and Nurse try to keep their young charges happy and safe but fail dismally. And, in their dying breaths, learn the age old moral that hate is not the answer. Love will conquer all.

Original Soundtrack by Hannah-Jade Keppler
